Hansom is a chef renowned for her refined culinary skills and modern take on British cuisine. Originally from Darlington, she trained at Westminster Kingsway College and gained national acclaim as the first female winner of YNCOTY in 2017.

She honed her craft in prestigious kitchens, including The Ritz London under executive chef John Williams. Hansom has opened her own restaurant Hansom Restaurant in Bedale, North Yorkshire, where she showcases seasonal, locally sourced ingredients with creativity, passion, and a commitment to sustainability.
