The Craft Guild of Chefs, in partnership with the Savoy Educational Trust, has announced that Edward Griffiths CVO FIH will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Education and Training Summit, taking place at Loughborough College on 8-9th January 2026.

Griffiths brings with him over three decades of ‘exceptional’ leadership in both business and hospitality. A respected consultant, he advises organisations on service excellence, leadership, and the ‘transformative power’ of outstanding customer service.

His career includes an impressive portfolio of senior leadership roles including three years as an executive board member of WSH Limited and 14 years as deputy master of the Royal Household where he managed hospitality operations across the Royal Palaces.

Griffiths co-authored the first Royal Cookbook and spent 11 years as managing director of Roux Restaurants Limited for the world-renowned Roux Brothers.

David McKown, chair of the education & training committee, commented: “The summit will open with a networking dinner on 8th January, followed by a full day of sessions on 9th January, where Griffiths will lead a highly anticipated discussion shining a spotlight on service and hospitality.”

The Education and Training Summit 2026 promises to be an inspiring and thought-provoking event, bringing together educators and industry leaders to explore the future of training and development in hospitality.
