'Dining Out Club' heading to Alyn Williams at the Westbury
The three course luncheon, which costs £39 a ticket with 40 places available, will take place at the critically-acclaimed Mayfair restaurant on Tuesday, April 14th and is the chance for chefs to catch up, air views and share stories as one of the Guild’s networking events.
Open to Guild members and non-members, it is also the chance to ask chef patron Alyn Williams Alyn about his menu and approach at the three AA Rosette modern European cuisine restaurant, which was ranked in the top 20 at the National Restaurant Awards 2014.
Alyn said he aimed to put on a great spread for Dining Out Club guests. “It’s a pleasure for me to host an event like this and it’s always good to cook for your peers,” said Alyn, who was the Craft Guild of Chefs’ National Chef of the Year 2012.
“I’m sure it will be an enjoyable afternoon and I look forward to welcoming everyone.”
The menu on the day will comprise Mersea island crab with Jersey royals and Wiltshire asparagus, maple glazed brisket with jack-by-the-hedge, sourdough crouton, smoked yolk and radish salad, with a dessert of Horlicks tapioca with muesli and frozen wild strawberries.
