Craft Guild crowns International Chef of the Year Award

Written by: Katie Imms
To celebrate 25 years of the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards, we have crowned Michelin star legend, chef Alain Ducasse, our highly prestigious International Chef of the Year - who will join us in celebrating at our annual ceremony on 4 June.

Celebrating chefs from the world stage who have had a major influence on both global and UK cuisine, Ducasse stood out among his peers, with both the panel of industry experts and award sponsor, Pure South, deciding him the worthy winner.

We are incredibly pleased to announce that Ducasse will be attending the Awards dinner on Monday 4 June at Grosvenor House Hotel (London) to accept this award in front of an 800-strong audience of chefs, peers and industry suppliers.

The unique International Chef of the Year Award is one of 17 other awards to be presented at the dinner, which celebrate chefs from across the hospitality and foodservice industry – from young apprentices starting out in their career to well-established chefs at the top of their game.
