Famous for being the only ‘true’ vineyard in London, Forty Hall is well-know and much celebrated by industry professional and wine aficionados alike.

With six Vice Presidents in attendance, our host did a fantastic job in showing us around and teaching us a bit more about the venue.

Run and managed by a close-knit group of passionate and dedicated local people, this north London gem is a truhe social enterprise, which produces and sells English still and sparkling wines.

Spread across 10 acres of organic vineyard, Forty Hall currently produces two still and one sparkling whites, and is working to expand its portfolio as its yields grow.

Its aim is simple: ‘to re-introduce commercial-scale wine production to London for the first time since the Middle Ages.”

For its volunteers, Forty Hall Vineyard provides a range of outdoor horticultural activities, which promote good mental health and wellbeing for local people, including those with mild to moderate mental health support needs.
