The Clink Charity launches range of Christmas baked goods

Written by: Edward Waddell
The Clink Bakery, based at HMP Brixton, has launched a range of Christmas products that are now available to purchase from The Clink Charity website.

The bakery’s products include traditional mince pies and Christmas puddings, as well as two types of luxury hampers. All the products are baked within the walls of HMP Brixton by The Clink’s patisserie trainers and students. The Christmas range is available here: https://theclinkcharity.org/shop.

Simon McKinnon-Brahams, The Clink Charity’s national customer operations manager, said: “We’ve worked with our students to create a range of traditional Christmas products that we hope will appeal to people who want to support a worthwhile cause while enjoying and sharing something delicious.

“We believe there is a strong appeal at Christmastime for socially-conscious gift buying and the work we do at The Clink relies heavily on the belief that people in prison are passionate about changing their lives and choosing a different path.”

The Clink Bakery supplies Clink Charity restaurants and Clink Events venues with baked goods. It supports students to train, qualify, find accommodation and secure employment opportunities once they are released from prison.
