Chef Tom Younger to create ‘spectacular’ opening feast for competitors

Celebrated chef Tom Younger of the Wellhouse Restaurant, famed for his bold wood-fired cooking, will create a ‘spectacular’ opening feast for the national semi-finalists for the UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year competitors.

The heat is on for the national semi-finals of UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year to be held at on 11th  March, and this year’s welcome dinner for the competitors is set to be ‘unforgettable’.

Younger is currently competing himself on MasterChef: The Professionals, making his television debut on 25th  February. As he steps into the national spotlight, he also brings his fire and flair to the future hospitality stars in  UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year, a fitting celebration for the next generation of culinary talent.

The talented teams in the semi-finals are Suffolk New College, The Sheffield College, Kendal College, Exclusive Academy, University of Derby - Buxton, North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, and Blackburn College will be welcomed with a dinner worthy of the national stage.
