Written by: Katie Imms
James Cochran, chef and restaurateur of B.Y.O.C and The Ledbury fame, has opened his second London-based restaurant, James Cochran N1, at Angel Central, Islington.

Specialising in modern British cuisine, including Cochran’s signature dish of Caribbean jerk chicken, the 2,111 square foot restaurant also features an open plan kitchen, cocktail and wine bar, DJ booth and stage table for evening entertainment.

Matthew Barratt, associate at CBRE Global Investors which represents Angel Central, said: “James Cochran is a fantastic addition to Angel Central, further strengthening the diverse and exciting dining offer. It’s a major coup that the centre is now home to the popular chef’s second location and first in Northern London.”

Cochran added: “The response to our launch has been fantastic and we are thrilled to open James Cochran N1 at one of North London’s most notable retail and leisure destinations.”
