Written by: Edward Waddell
Award-winning conference and events venue 30 Euston Square has announced the appointment of new Michelle Trusselle as the executive chef.

Boasting a rich and diverse culinary background the 2018 semi-finalist in MasterChef: The Professionals joins the team at the Grade II-listed venue.

Joining Searcys team at 30 Euston Square late last year, Trusselle led the kitchen through its busy Christmas period and has begun extensive menu development across the venue, from canapés to fine dining dinners.

Bringing her own creative flair, new menus will focus on elevating the best of seasonal, sustainable British produce with modern cooking techniques while taking inspiration from flavours and spices from the Caribbean, Middle East, India and East Asia.

Trusselle has trained and worked in some of the most celebrated kitchens in the UK including The Savoy, Claridge’s and Michelin-starred restaurant La Trompette under Bruce Poole.

Trusselle commented: “I am delighted to be working with the amazing team at the prestigious 30 Euston Square. After joining during the busy Christmas period, I’m looking forward to tapping into my creativity to create and develop innovative menus for 2022, combining my own authentic cooking style with 30 Euston Square’s long-standing British heritage and ethos. My cooking is influenced by what produce is available throughout the year and will be utilising the best of seasonal ingredients across all the menus throughout the venue.”
