David McKown, director of the conference, commented: “Welbilt have been regular supporters of the business programme since the very first conference was held in 1998, first of all building the demonstration kitchen in the Octagon Centre at the University of Sheffield.”

After the conference moved to the Sheffield College in 2011, the company continued to support the event , with their Convotherm and Merrychef brands being a regular feature of the kitchens used by the visiting chefs.
