The Social Company to host a series of fundraising lunches for Hospitality Action
On June 7th, chef Jason Atherton will host a series of fundraising lunches with special guest chefs to raise money for industry charity Hospitality Action across The Social Company restaurants.
Atherton will cook alongside special guest chefs raising funds from lunches that will go directly towards helping those in the industry who have fallen on hard times, be they chefs, housekeepers or bar staff.
Jason Atherton, patron and trustee of Hospitality Action, said: “We want to lead by example as a high end restaurant group.
“The people who have the least time are the people we want to be involved, which is why I decided to do it on only one day.
“Our dream is that once a year all other chefs close their restaurants and everyone teams up to raise as much money as we possibly can.”
