Raymond Blanc opens latest Brasserie Blanc restaurant

Written by: Katie Imms
French chef Raymond Blanc has opened his latest Brasserie Blanc restaurant inside the newly refurbish Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel.

Hoping to bring ‘a slice of rural France to Hale Barns (Manchester),’ the venue is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and ‘everything in between.’

Sitting alongside a breakfast buffet, a la carte options will be available from 6:30am, including eggs Benedict, Florentine or Royale and a selection of drinks from fresh orange juice and coffee to Champagne and Buck’s Fizz.

The lunch and dinner menu - inspired by Blanc’s travels - comprises home-cooked French food with a ‘contemporary international flavour’, such as: fresh vegetable summer rolls; Mediterranean fish soup; BB cheese soufflé; boeuf bourguignon and steak frites.

There is also a Sunday lunch menu served ‘family-style’ as well as a £6.95 children’s menu (main, side and dessert.)

Cocktails are meanwhile served in both the brasserie and outside terrace and feature alongside an extensive wine list, including Brasserie Blanc’s own Blanc de Blancs sparkling.
