Preet Tandi goes solo

Chef Preet Tandi will draw on his experience in kitchens such as Nobu London and Dinner by Heston, as he prepares to launch his solo venture, Soho Wala.

Offering Indian street food in the heart of London, the 50-cover restaurant is located on Soho’s Great Marlborough Street and fuses “time-honoured flavours with a cutting edge menu that brings the boldness of India”.

 

As such, Soho Wala (‘commonly used across to describe a merchant or seller of the finest fare’ in Indian trading) will serve dishes including: Kurkure bhaji (crispy lotus root and okra); mirchi matchstick chicken; and Assam tea brûlée with ice cream.

 

The brand new venture is set to open mid-November.
