Leading chefs Angela and Michel create Christmas menus for Waitrose
Chef Angela Hartnett, who co-hosts Waitroses’ DISH podcast, offers a festive set menu featuring Italian-style slow-roasted porchetta with crispy crackling, potato gnocchi baked with seasonal squash and spinach, slow-braised cavolo nero with toasted pine nuts on the side and panettone pudding with pistachio custard.
And Michel Roux, renowned as a master of French fine dining, has created a menu featuring an all-butter-pastry-wrapped beef fillet Wellington, a Champagne & saffron soup for starter, and on the side celeriac & potato dauphinoise with heritage carrots and chestnuts glazed in confit garlic brown butter.
