Kelsius offers free college workshops to support innovation

Written by: Edward Waddell
Kelsius, providers of wireless temperature monitoring systems and digital HACCP systems, is offering a free educational workshop for all UK catering colleges on the importance of such technology in the modern kitchen.

Kelsius experts will offer real-world experience and live demonstrations to showcase the potential of technology in meeting the changing demands of catering environments.

All colleges that host a workshop will also go into a draw to claim a Kelsius FoodCheck 2.0 temperature monitoring system with Samsung tablet in their educational setting for 12 months. This will give students the chance to use the equipment day-in, day-out as part of their training.

Mario Kelly, commercial director of Kelsius, said: “Temperature monitoring systems give complete food safety control to kitchen staff and they are becoming increasing more valuable as technology continues to play a greater role in catering environments.

“We know that colleges are embracing the use of technology across the kitchen and we want to make sure that temperature monitoring is included in learning programmes across the UK. Systems like ours can make a real difference to businesses in terms of profit, efficiency, productivity and confidence in their products. It’s vital that future catering professionals are aware of those benefits and can embrace innovative technology right from the start of their career.”
