The 2026 Skills for Chefs Conference, which is taking place from 1-2nd July, will open with An Audience with John Williams MBE.

The conference aims to unite chefs, educators and hospitality professionals from across the UK. Williams, executive chef at The Ritz London, will headline the opening evening.

Renowned for leading the hotel’s two Michelin-starred restaurant, Williams remains one of the most respected figures in British gastronomy. Earlier this year, The Ritz Restaurant was named Best Restaurant of the Year 2025 in the National Restaurant Awards.

Conference director David McKown MBE said: “We are thrilled that John Williams MBE will open the Skills for Chefs Conference next year. His achievements at The Ritz and his commitment to the industry and education make him the ideal figure to lead our opening night.”

Bookings for the 2026 conference are now open, and delegates are encouraged to secure their place early for one of the year’s standout hospitality events. More details here: https://www.skillsforchefs.org.uk
