D’Acampo said: “I can’t wait to open My Restaurant right in the heart of trendy Camden. Twenty years ago I worked as head chef at Pane Vino, in nearby Kentish Town, so it feels like I’m coming home.”

The Italian restaurant on Chalk Farm Road will have capacity for 150 covers spanning over two floors and will feature an open kitchen, deli bar, prosecco bar, alfresco dining and private dining space.

The restaurant will serve Italian food, with the menu featuring favourites from D’Acampo’s books and TV programmes. The restaurant will also serve over 40 Proseccos and sparkling and regional wines at the its My Prosecco Bar.

Two further restaurants in Harogate and Liverpool are set to open in July this year, following the launch of D’Acampo’s restaurant brand in Manchester, Euston Station, London, and Leeds.
