Equipment manufacturer Hoshizaki wins Foodservice Footprint award for energy efficiency

Hoshizaki, the foodservice and commercial kitchen equipment manufacturer, has been awarded first place in the Foodservice Footprint Awards’ energy efficiency category.

The award was given to the manufacturer for its Gram SUPERIORPLUS 72 range, which aims to reduce energy and lower annual energy bill.

Steve Loughton, Hoshizaki UK director of UK and Ireland, said: “This award has proven that our reputation for highly energy efficient and sustainable products is well founded

“Our generation 5 technology is thus far unrivalled, with the SUPERIORPLUS K72G being positively received by operators and chefs alike.”

The manufacturer was up against Adande refrigeration and Winterhalter for the award. Previous winners of the award include Spirit Pub Company and Wyke Farms.
