Deadline extension for entries for Wessex Salon Culinaire 2014
The Craft Guild of Chefs has extended the deadline for entries to May 16 for its 2014 Wessex Salon Culinaire, following a raft of new interest from chefs in taking part during the four-day Hotelympia show at ExCeL, which ended yesterday (May 1).
The event, organised by the Craft Guild, takes place from May 28-29 at Brockenhurst College in Brockenhurst, Hampshire, and offers chefs an opportunity to demonstrate their culinary skills.
The competition is split into four categories: Live Hot, Live Cold, Restaurant and Display, with scores of classes for entrants to choose – from a British game main course in the Live Hot section to napkin folding in the Restaurant Table Display.
