
Chef Reif Othman joins Sumosan Twiga as executive chef
The news comes as Twiga joins parent company, the Billionaire Life Group, as both executive chef and business partner.
He comes from Zuma restaurant, which he joined in 2009 and was appointed regional executive chef UAE in 2014, having previously worked at One Rochester Group.
As well as ‘injecting his innovative style’ to Sumosan Twiga, Othman will oversee front of house operations as he looks to ‘lead the restaurant into an exciting new phase of its residency in London.’
He said: “This is an exciting new journey for me. London is a city with continuous growth of culinary experiences, innovative concepts and cuisines, and a melting pot of pure talents.
“My vision for Sumosan Twiga is to harness the brand’s energy which attracts its very loyal international following and to further grow its reputation for serious food beyond the party.”
Offering two menus across the three-storey restaurant, classic Venetian-inspired dishes sit alongside an ‘innovative’ Japanese menu, with the full men available from August and a teaser now.
