Charity event at Caistor Hall to raise money for Murray Chapman & MND
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for Murray Chapman, a chef, trainer, mentor and unfailing champion of student chefs, after his recent diagnosis of frontal lobe dementia and Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
Guests should arrive at 6.30pm for light canapés and drinks reception. Dinner will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £120 per ticket or a table of ten for £1,000. The menu includes:
- Starter: Leek, Seaweed, Egg Yolk & Truffle
- Fish course: Dry Aged Trout, Potato, Horseradish, Sudachi, Cucumber & Golden Oscietra Caviar
- Main Course: Dingley Dell Pork, Celeriac, Miso & Black Walnut
- Dessert: Russet Apple, Brown Butter, Bay Leaf & Blackberry
There will also be an auction, music until midnight and wines matched to each course by Ed Keith. The menu has been created by Mark Poynton, Eric Snaith, Adam Smith, Russell Bateman and Sam Carter. Local college students will be helping out the front of house at the event.
