Albera returns to London from Abu Dhabi where he worked as speciality chef of Italian restaurant Amici, at Yas Viceroy luxury hotel group.

David Loewi, managing director of D&D London, said: “We have always loved Angelo’s authentic Italian cooking and are excited to welcome him back to Cantina del Ponte.”

The chef will bring his own flavour of Italian cuisine to cantina, with dishes ranging from Ravioli di melanzone e burrata al pomodoro fresco and Spaghetti allo Scoglio & Saltimbocca alla Romana.

D&D London operates over 30 restaurants across the globe, including high profile London venues including German Gymnasium and Quaglino’s.
