Billy and Jack, 2016 MasterChef finalists, host ‘very British’ supper club at Selfridges
Exclusive to Selfridges’ London store, the campaign seeks to explore “distinct seasonal British flavours and showcase leading British producers,” including both “new and exciting makers and seasoned experts.”
Chefs Billy and Jack – famous for “losing MasterChef in 2016” and have since gone on to host their own super clubs – are taking over Selfridges Corner Restaurant and Champagne Bar on 14 May.
Cooking “a very British” four-course menu, dishes comprise: 63 degree Cacklebean egg, Wye Valley asparagus; followed by Cornish crab doughnut, English sea herbs for second course and slow-grown ‘spring’ chicken with jersey royals and spring veg for main. Dessert is butterscotch trifle.
The £60 per person ticket also includes a glass of Champagne and canapés on arrival, plus tea and coffee served with petit fours to finish.
