UK Restaurant Team of the Year reveals winner
The winning team consisted of Olivia James, Amy Phillips and Luke Smith who created and served a Nordic themed menu with wines and cocktails to four guests and a panel of industry judges. John Holden, lecturer from Cheshire College South & West, paid tribute to the talent of all the finalists in a short speech.
The team will embark on a study tour to Belgium later this year, visiting Michelin starred restaurants, chocolatiers and a Belgium brewery. The award was presented at an awards dinner by Vicky Enderson, chair of judges and director of MSK Ingredients.
The other finalists who participated in the final being Loughborough College, Sheffield College, North Warwickshire & South Leicester College and Eastleigh College.
