Eight teams will be selected for the semi-finals and they will be accommodated in a local hotel with a welcome dinner for competitors and judges taking place at Gordon Ramsay Street Burger on the eve of the competition.

Vicky Enderson, chair of judges, commented: “We are incredibly excited to be hosting the semi-final at the Academy once again since the facilities and staff are first class.”

Teams will also be supported with travel costs thanks to a grant from the Savoy Educational Trust. The closing date for entries in UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year is 2nd February and an entry pack can be requested by emailing [email protected].
