Realpubs group on the lookout for aspiring chefs

Written by: Admin
Gastropub operator Realpubs is on the lookout for innovative and aspiring chefs to join it at its expanding food-led pub group.
The company, which operates ten large pubs in the London area, is seeking to attract chefs who wish to showcase their talent and exploit their creativity. To give chefs an insight into the group, each pub has its own dining room and most of them boast a state of the art modern open plan kitchen. Its menus vary daily and from pub to pub. Dishes on its menu includes rabbit, wild mushroom and spinach pastie, slow braised venison, red wine, caramelised apples and pancetta, steamed mutton and orange pudding. Two new sites have opened recently in the last three months and all follow the same design features which include stainless steel open kitchens, big print wallpaper, crystal chandeliers and wooden tables and chairs intermingled with huge leather sofas. Nick Rochford, executive chef at Realpubs Limited, commented on the group as a whole: "The emphasis is on fresh food and a friendly relaxed style of service. Our customers want modern European food with a creative flair. And it's that creativity as well as dedication to perfection that we look for in our teams."
