Designed to bring people together and explore vital wellbeing topics, these sessions allow guests to build new connections, share insight, and support chefs from all sectors, levels and backgrounds in prioritising their health.
The wellness team, chaired by Andy Aston, remains committed to championing the wellbeing of our industry and creating safe spaces where chefs can thrive.

Thursday 26th Feb - 5pm to 7pm Building a Healthy Relationship with Food in Hospitality
Led by Emily Priddis, founder of Quiet Mind Coaching and author of ‘The anti-diet guide to health and weight management’, is a health and life coach with a passion for helping people build a healthier, more empowered relationship with food.
Having spent years navigating the fast-paced, high-pressure world of hospitality and public service, Emily understands first-hand how challenging it can be to prioritise wellbeing while managing demanding schedules, long shifts, and an environment centred around food.
Drawing on both personal experience and evidence-based nutrition principles, Emily focuses on practical, realistic strategies for supporting the body without restriction, guilt, or complexity. Her work centres on balancing blood sugar, tuning into hunger and energy cues and creating supportive habits that fit seamlessly into even the busiest hospitality lifestyle.
In this talk, Emily will share key learnings on how to cultivate a healthy relationship with food, nourish the body effectively, and make choices that sustain energy, mood, and performance. With a grounded, accessible approach, she offers tools that individuals and teams can apply immediately helping hospitality professionals feel their best while doing the work they love.
Thursday 16th April - 5pm to 7pm Understanding and Supporting Neurodiversity in Hospitality
Adel Gascoigne will deliver an interactive, insight-rich session designed to help hospitality teams better understand and support neurodiverse colleagues.
As a Neurodiversity & Trauma Assessor, Wellbeing and Mental Health Coach, and Learning & Development Specialist with over 23 years’ safeguarding experience, Adel brings practical expertise and real-world compassion.
This session gives attendees the skills to recognise different thinking styles, understand behaviour through a neuro-inclusive lens, and respond to distress or overwhelm in a calm, supportive way.
Leaders and teams will leave with increased confidence, improved communication strategies, and a deeper ability to create working environments where every member of staff feels understood, valued, and able to perform at their best.

Monday 13th July - 5pm to 7pm Stress Less, Play More: LEGO Serious Play for Hospitality Teams
Join this event for a relaxed, hands-on session where we’ll build with LEGO, share ideas, and have plenty of laughs along the way. Led by Karen Winter, an adult creativity and play psychologist and qualified LEGO Serious Play facilitator, this workshop turns stress management into something creative, practical and fun.
With support from Adel Gascoigne, wellbeing and mental health coach, we’ll explore what stress looks like, what helps us cope and how we can support each other as a team.
Forget boring slides and heavy theory. This is about rediscovering the joy of play, remembering how building and imagining felt as a child, and bringing that back to connect with others and manage stress, all whilst having fun.

Thursday 19th November - 5pm to 7pm International Men’s Day
Join us for an honest, thought-provoking panel discussion led by Andy Aston, exploring the challenges and opportunities facing men in the hospitality industry today.
This session brings together industry voices including Chefs John Campbell & Ben Tish to talk openly about mental health, workplace pressures and the importance of creating supportive environments for everyone.
Through real stories, the panel will shine a light on issues that often go unspoken, helping everyone to build wellbeing, resilience, and positive change for all. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of the unique pressures men face and actionable ideas to make hospitality a healthier, more inclusive place to work.
