Cook your own at The Kitchen
A new restaurant concept has recently opened in London enabling food lovers to create their own restaurant quality meals from ingredients hand-picked by Michelin-starred chef Thierry Laborde for as little as £5 per portion.
The Kitchen, also founded by business partner Natalie Richmond, allows people who love cooking to prepare their favourite dishes, try new recipes, learn and take everything but the washing up home with them in eco-friendly, disposable containers to cook, chill or freeze.
People simply need to go online and order a selection of different meals from a seasonal menu devised by Thierry, They then book a session and come in-store to prepare the meals, with the help and advice from Thierry and his team.
In just over an hour, people can make over a week's worth of freshly prepared food to take away with them.
If foodies can not visit The Kitchen they can go online, choose meals and collect the ingredients and menu cards to prepare dishes at home, with Thierry available at the end of the phone to help with preparation and cooking queries.
As well as preparing fresh, nutritious dishes, Thierry and Natalie are hoping to make people think more about the environment as well as their food, by using hand-picked and locally-sourced suppliers, free-range and organic options, eco-friendly cartons, and grow-your-own seed scheme.
Chef Thierry has 20 years of experience in London and European countries including The Wallace, Zuma, L'Oranger and Le Gavroche.
