Written by: Edward Waddell
The Craft Guild of Chefs Chairman’s Charity Dinner, which is taking place on Thursday 5th March 2026, will raise vital funds for Saint Francis Hospice in Essex.

Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of partners, supporters and industry friends, this year’s event promises to be an ‘unforgettable’ celebration of talent, community, and compassion.

The evening will be hosted by renowned chef and presenter Will Torrent, who will guide guests through a multi-course menu crafted by outstanding contributors from across the hospitality sector:

  • Canapés by Lexington Catering – Jon Lillie & Steven Snowden
  • Starter by Tugo Food Solutions – Stuart Nisbet, Marcus Elbourne & Nicole Benham-Corlette
  • Fish Course by Levy, Tottenham Stadium – Amy Duthie, Teri Spires & Christina Ciolan
  • Main Course by 74 Charlotte Street – created by celebrated chef Ben Murphy
  • Dessert by Mar Hall Resort – Szilard Szentesi
  • Petit Fours by the Association of Pastry Chefs – Shona Sutherland

Each course highlights exceptional craftsmanship and a shared commitment to supporting a charity that provides compassion, dignity, and specialist care to families across Essex.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to Saint Francis Hospice, whose invaluable work supports individuals and families facing life-limiting illness. Their dedication to compassionate care and community support remains at the heart of this fundraising initiative.

The Second Annual Fundraising Dinner is not only a celebration of culinary excellence—it's a powerful reminder of what the hospitality community can achieve when united for a cause.
