Allan Reeder gives back to team with Hospitality Action partnership

Written by: Edward Waddell
This Christmas, Allan Reeder is giving the whole team a ‘gift with a difference’ for the festive season to recognise the dedicated staff and talent it has within the business.

The company has signed up to Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) reinforcing their commitment to staff wellbeing and mental health. Hospitality Action’s EAP is designed specifically for the hospitality industry, offering confidential, 24/7 support to employees.

The programme includes:

  • A telephone helpline, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year which can also be accessed by WhatsApp or SMS.
  • A fully qualified team of counsellors and experts who are highly experienced in personal and work-related issues.
  • Digital wellbeing tools, including a dedicated app with e-learning, a digital gym, and wellbeing resources.
  • Plus, over 1,000 shopping discounts.

By joining this scheme, Allan Reeder ensures their team has access to these vital services whenever they need them, creating a culture where wellbeing is a high priority.

This initiative is just the beginning of a partnership between Allan Reeder and Hospitality Action and throughout 2026 they will be supporting some of the charity’s most high-profile events.

Several team members will be joining the Golden Friends scheme which provides an opportunity for eligible employees and retirees to stay connected and keep up-to-date with what’s happening with the charity and around the wider industry.

Heidi Reeder, director of Allan Reeder, said: “Our people are at the heart of everything we do. The hospitality industry can be demanding, and we want our team to know that their mental health and wellbeing matter to us.

“Partnering with Hospitality Action is our way of saying: you’re supported, not just at work, but in life. I have always strongly believed that caring for people both inside and outside the business is the foundation of a thriving hospitality community.”
