Yumpingo partners with Brasserie Blanc to trial new review platform

UK tech start-up Yumpingo has teamed up with Brasserie Blanc to trial its new live restaurant review platform.

The software, which is designed to give restaurants an insight into what customers really think of their food and offer diners real-time recommendations, went live in Brasserie Blanc’s Farnham branch last week and will be extended to it’s Charlotte Street, London site next week.

Gary Goodman, founder and CEO of Yumpingo said: “Current methods of capturing feedback on food restaurant’s service are unfair, not representative and broken. Yumpingo is all about connecting diners to kitchens in real-time, enabling restaurants to optimise their menus over time and diners to order more food they love.

“Yumpingo has been developing the platform with restaurant industry partners for the last two years. Gary continued,“ Early indications are that the metrics we are reporting are potentially transformational for the industry.”

The platform allows restaurants to provide live recommendations on dishes they love and want to promote, as well as aiming to help deliver greater consistency across shifts and venues.

Kathryn Coury, marketing director Brasserie Blanc, added: “We are excited to be working with Yumpingo as part of their launch. It is fascinating to engage with guests in this unique way and to get real time feedback on the food they are enjoying in our brasseries.”

Yumpingo has also introduced a ‘lean menu development’ system, which aims to enable chefs to launch, showcase and test new dishes to evolve their menus.
