York to London cycle team raises £30,000 for Hospitality Action charity

Twenty of the industry’s top members participated in Hospitality Action’s York to London Cycle Challenge this weekend, raising £30,000 for the charity with more sponsorship money to come over the next few weeks.

The event was sponsored by Bunzl Catering and Hospitality Division, Caterers Linen Supply and Sous Vide Tools.

Team members included industry leaders such as: Neil Stephens, managing director, Nestlé Professional and his team of seven cyclists, Roger Oliver, managing director, Caterers Linen Supply, Richard Ball, executive chairman, Calcot Hotels and Hospitality Action Trustee and Phil Roker, Owner, commercial director, Vacherin Ltd.

Matt Johnson, trustee of Hospitality Action and main sponsor of the challenge, said: “Bunzl Catering and Hospitality Division were delighted to sponsor Hospitality Action’s York to London Cycle Challenge this year. The commitment and dedication of the 20 participants to complete this incredibly tough challenge and raise such an outstanding amount of money for such a worthwhile cause, is fantastic.”
