Votes for Britain’s Best Brigade 2017 reaches record number

Over 1,000 people have voted in Essential Cuisine’s Best Brigades 2017 competition, a record number, with voting set to close on June 27th.

The competition will see one team from the sectors of, restaurants, pubs, schools, healthcare, universities colleges, event catering, B&I and hotels, win the title, £1000 and a menu development masterclass.

 

Nigel Crane, managing director for Essential Cuisine, said: “With only two weeks to go, we’re delighted with the overwhelming response and the competition couldn’t be tighter.

 

“Our sector brigades have done the business and now it’s up to the public to crown the most skilful, cohesive and character-packed team.”

 

Voting for Best Brigade costs 50p per vote, which goes to the brigade’s chosen charity. Voting can be made here.

Pubs – The Rose and Crown

Chosen Charity: The Peach Foundation

Healthcare – Anisha Grange

Chosen Charity: St Luke’s Hospice, Basildon

Event Catering – Sue Brady Catering

Chosen Charity: Julia’s House Children’s Hospice
