Following the success of their other locations at Broadgate Circle and Battersea, Tanaka and Jankel will be serving restaurant quality, seasonal food, from their trademark vintage Airstream for lunch and dinner throughout the week.

Situated in the former Hackney House and offering a covered seating area, the East London venue will be open from midday until 4pm Tuesday to Sunday, providing a selection of foodie delights using sustainable produce, sourced directly from British farms. The menu will also include their best-selling crispy chicken salad with warm crushed potatoes, bacon, croutons, pickled red onions and Winchy mayo.

Tanaka commented: “We are so pleased with the progress of Street Kitchen.  Our customers in The City and in Battersea love that they can buy healthy and delicious freshly cooked food on the go. We are confident that the concept will continue to go from strength to strength across all of our London sites and beyond.”

Jankel added: “It has been so exciting meeting new farmers and developing our supply chain over the last eighteen months, it is incredibly important to us to know where our ingredients come from and how they are produced.”
