Springboard’s ‘Night To Dine For’, which took place this week, raised over £45,000 for charity.

The murder mystery at the Park Plaza near London’s Westminster Bridge, was an opportunity celebrate Springboard’s achievements of the past year while raising vital funds for the work of the charity.

Over £45,000 was raised on the night including funds from the main and silent auctions, with £5,000 alone being raised for a five star dining at home experience for 10 people with top chef, Jason Atherton.

Springboard helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people by supporting them into life-changing and sustainable employment in hospitality, leisure and tourism.  As well as working with the hospitality sector to attract talent and address skills shortages and in doing so promote the industry as a great place to work.

Anne Pierce, chief executive at Springboard, commented:  “We are thrilled at the amount raised on the evening and will be using the funds raised to continue our work in combatting youth unemployment, supporting disadvantaged people of any age into sustainable work in our industry and helping young people achieve their potential.

"Our work will provide an on-going way to make a real impact. It was also fantastic to see so many of our partners and sponsors in the room celebrating what a vibrant industry we work in.”
