The Springboard Charity's Peru Trek 2012 approaches
Building on the success of the Great Wall of China Trek last year, a team of industry trekkers will take on the challenging Lares trail to Machu Picchu this year to help raise funds for the Springboard Charity.
The goal is to raise over £100,000 – enabling Springboard to help over 70 young, unemployed and disadvantaged people receive vital training and the support they need to move into life-changing employment in hospitality and leisure.
Each trekker will need to raise £2,000 to cover trip costs and £3,500 for the Charity. The trek is taking place from 26th October to 4th November.
Companies signed up to date include Compass, Sodexo, Nestle, Prestonfiled House Hotels, Venners, TGI Friday's, SB and Le Manoir.
