As part of its support, Vitamix will be sponsoring a different chef on each of the four days of live cooking demonstrations helping foodservice businesses improve their culinary skills, hone menu creation expertise and increase profit margins. These chefs and their themes are: Steve Walpole 'Britalian Cichetti – small plates for sharing' on March 17, 12.30-1.15pm Damian Wawrzyniak 'RAW cooking and chocolate experience' on March 18, 3.15-4pm Lee Maycock 'Something quintessentially British' on March 19, 3.15-4pm Stephen Scuffell 'Ducking and Diving' on March 20, 10.30-11.15am Each chef will be demonstrating the versatile Vita-Prep 3, which can chop delicate ingredients and blend tough purées. Lisa Klein, vice president of commercial sales at Vitamix, which supplies restaurant owners and well-known coffee shops across the UK and worldwide, said: "We pride ourselves on our high performance machines that allow for process elimination and help improve workflow, resulting in significant savings in both labour and time. Sponsoring The Skillery is another way for us to support chefs and help them generate success in a tough financial climate." There will be 20 top chefs in total appearing at The Skillery over the four-day show, with other demonstration sponsors comprising AAK, Alaska Seafood, Churchill, Cricketer Farm, Dolmio, Uncle Ben's, Peppadew, Philadelphia, Tilda and Bernard Matthews.
