Tyler arrives in the capital from the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech where as chef de cuisine, he was responsible for the creation of Morocco's contemporary Japanese restaurant. Prior to this position, he assisted on the operational side of the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, working alongside award winning chef Carmen Ruscalleda. Other past roles include working at the Mangapapa Petit Hotel in New Zealand and Roka in London. Aside from a life-long passion for Asian cuisine, Tyler is known for his love of experimenting with different textures, flavours and ingredients. The Novikov Restaurant & Bar is headed by Arkady Novikov. It comprises two restaurants – the Asian Restaurant and the Italian Restaurant.
