New head chef joins The Gun gastropub

Tom and Ed Martin, of the privately owned, award-winning ETM Group, have recently appointed Quinton Bennett as head chef of The Gun, Docklands.

Bennett brings experience gained from positions at some of London’s top hotels including The Westbury, The Arch and Haymarket Hotel. He has also made it through to the final of the Roux Scholarship in 2011 and 2012.

Bennett commented: “I am thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with a company that is driven by quality ingredients and products. It is a pleasure to be working with Tom and Ed Martin’s team and in such an historic venue.”

ETM Group head of food operations James Lyon-Shaw added: “We are delighted to welcome Quinton into the kitchens of The Gun. He has already made a big impact on the team and shown great talent as a chef. His passion for quality produce and cookery fits well with our ethos and will bring the offering at The Gun a new level of quality to improve the already great standards.”
