National Restaurateurs' Dinner to celebrate 30th anniversary

Written by: Isabel Finch
The National Restaurateurs' Dinner, the annual fundraising event for the hospitality industry, is to celebrate its 30th anniversary at this year’s event at The Dorchester, London.

Jason Atherton, chef patron at The Social Company, Tony Fleming, executive chef at Hotel L’Oscar, Henri Brosi, executive chef at The Dorchester and pastry consultant Sarah Hartnett have put together the menu for the dinner.

The menu features dishes such as dressed Colchester crab with green apple and brown crab mayonnaise, a fillet of Hereford beef with oxtail ravioli and black truffle and a symphony of caramel.

The dinner was founded by Roy Ackerman CBE and is a joint initiative by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, the Academy of Food and Wine Service and The Restaurant Association.

Funds raised from the National Restaurateurs' Dinner have been invested in programmes including Restaurant Manager of the Year and RACA Annual Awards of Excellence. Last year, the National Restaurateurs' Dinner raised over £50,000.
