Paul Anderson will become Meiko's new managing director in April, joining from Hoshizaki UK, where he held the role of director of sales.

Anderson will takeover the role at the commercial warewashing business on April 1st when the current managing director, Bill Downie, steps down after 24 years.

The new managing director, said: “I will be wearing a different pair of shoes and bringing a new pair of eyes to Meiko UK. The direction may change as we consider new ideas and concepts, but I will always be treading the same path to success that I have followed and indeed, which has been forged by Bill and his team.”

In the early 2000s, Anderson spent two years as Meiko regional sales manager before leaving to join Gram UK as business development manager.

Outgoing managing director, Bill Downie, said: “I leave behind a great team at Meiko UK, many know Paul from his time with us as a regional sales manager some 17 years ago. He can be assured of their total support as he delivers on the goals and targets that have been set for the business over the coming years.”

Meiko UK Limited supplies, installs and maintains all types of warewashing equipment from small undercounter machines for bars, pubs and cafes, to larger hood type, rack transport and flight warewashing machines in use by airlines, hospitals, schools and hotels.
