Written by: Admin
The Marwell Hotel in Hampshire has appointed Richard Cameron as the executive chef to oversee its food and beverage operation.

Cameron joins the hotel with 25 years experience in the catering industry and having worked at high profile establishments such as The Langham Hotel in London and the Rowhill Grange Hotel and Spa in Kent.

Cameron’s new menu at The Dining Room will consist of British and European cuisine and will compliment local produce wherever possible – showcasing the very best food Hampshire has to offer. The bar menu will also be re-launched with an international vibe featuring Asian tapas dishes.

Oliver Bastian, manager of the Marwell Hotel commented: “We are delighted to have found someone who shares our passion and enthusiasm for food. I am sure that this will help put Marwell on the map as a venue with a top quality dining offering. Richard’s ideas, flavours, creativity and expertise is exactly what we have been looking for and we look forward to our guests enjoying this too.”

Cameron added: “Marwell Hotel provides such a fantastic opportunity for me to take a blank canvas and really make my mark. The Bastian family, who own the hotel, are fantastic people who have built a strong offering for people looking for a woodland escape. I really hope diners will enjoy the menu I have developed for The Dining Room and continue to sample the delights as we move through the seasons.”
