London to Paris cycle team raise a staggering £40k for Hospitality Action

Some of the industry’s top players participated in Hospitality Action’s second London to Paris Cycle Challenge last weekend, raising almost £40,000 for the charity, with more sponsorship money to come over the next few weeks.

Team members included industry leaders such as:

Andrew Stembridge, managing director of Chewton Glen and Cliveden House
Jonathan Raggett, managing director of Red Carnation Hotels and Hospitality Action Trustee
Danny Pecorelli, managing director at Exclusive Hotels
Richard Ball, managing director, Calcot Manor and Barnsley House and Hospitality Action Trustee
Ashley Palmer-Watts, head of dinner by Heston Blumenthal

William Baxter, chairman of Hospitality Action and participant in the challenge, said: “We cyclists were tested to the limit mentally and physically, but with an unflinching team spirit we carried on. The commitment and dedication of the team to complete this incredibly tough challenge and raisean outstanding amount of money for our industry charity is truly amazing and I was very proud to be a part of it.”
