Little Chef gets behind Love Food Give Food campaign

Written by: Admin
Roadside restaurant Little Chef and its dedicated employees have raised a staggering £25,978.50 for the Love Food Give Food campaign by Action Against Hunger, a charity which helps build better lives for the world’s poorest children and their families.

Love Food Give Food supports Action Against Hunger to reach twice as many malnourished children and provide them with the support and nutrition they need to grow, learn and develop.

Action Against Hunger’s head of Food Related Fundraising, Emma Cullingford, said: “We are thrilled to have the support of Little Chef. As a hugely popular family-favourite restaurant they have helped us spread the word about Love Food Give Food far and wide and have raised an incredible amount of funds towards the fight against hunger.

"Their support will help us save more lives and provide communities with sustainable access to food and safe water. We are hugely grateful to the entire Little Chef team for getting behind Love Food Give Food and turning their passion for food into action against hunger.”

Graham Sims, chairman of Little Chef added: “Little Chef is proud to support the Love Food Give Food appeal raising funds for Action Against Hunger. We fully believe that the UK restaurant industry can do its bit to help get child hunger off the table and we are encouraging our customers to get involved and help those most in need.”
