The restaurant, scheduled to open in March 2013, will also feature a bar and will be called 'Social Eating House'. Atherton will open the new restaurant in partnership with his long standing head chef Paul Hood. He said: "I am really excited to be going into partnership with Paul Hood who has worked with me for over six years and is one of the most talented chefs I have ever come across." The premises, located at 58-59 Poland Street, comprises of ground, first and mezzanine floors. The deal was brokered by Dean Gambles of commercial property agents Coleman Dean, who also acquired the site for Atherton's flagship restaurant Pollen Street Social, which opened in April 2011.
