The British Food Federation (BFFF) and Craft Guild of Chefs (CGC) have teamed up to create the pop-up Ice Café at this year’s International Food & Drink Event (IFE 2017) to challenge perceptions of frozen food.

Soraya Gadelrab, event director, said: “Overall, the purpose of IFE’s first pop-up is to help raise awareness of the advantages of cooking with frozen produce including budget, flavour and ease without compromising on menu quality.”

The Ice Café will host cooking demonstrations between 11:30am and 3:00pm from March 19th to March 22nd at ExCel, London.

Dishes available to sample include honey and lime stir-fried prawns, Cumberland sausage and mustard mash, and beef stroganoff.
