Hospitality students partner with top chefs to produce charity dinner

Written by: Admin
Students from the University of West London's Chef Restaurant Diploma course teamed up with some of the country's most renowned chefs last week to prepare a charity dinner.
They joined forces with Michael Roux OBE, Brian Turner CBE, Anton Edelmann, John Williams MBE, and Philip Corrick, executive chef of the Royal Automobile Club. The students prepared a four course meal in aid of the Chefs 'Adopt a School' Programme, The British Forces Foundation and Epsom Racing Staff Welfare. The event took place at the Woodcote Park, Epsom, clubhouse of The Royal Automobile Club on 2 June. This is the third year that University of West London students have helped cater for the event. Michael Coaker, senior lecturer in culinary arts at the University, commented: "They'll have the experience of working with top chefs at a beautiful location."
