Hospitality Action Three Peaks Challenge is back for 2012

Written by: Admin
Hospitality Action, supported by Nestlé Professional, is organising a second Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for the charity.
A number of key industry players including 3663, Devere Hotels and Red Carnation Hotels are already gearing up for the challenge, taking place from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th June 2012. Each industry leader will climb alongside three or four colleagues, with a fundraising target of £5,000 per team. The charity is hoping to recruit even more teams this year, aiming to smash the £50,000 target achieved in 2011. Three Peaks is one of the toughest but also most popular UK chall nges, climbing the three highest peaks in the home nations: Scotland, England and Wales. It starts with Ben Nevis, before heading south for Scafell Pike and then finishing at Snowdon. The real test for many is the tight timescale, as the entire challenge is completed in just 24 hours. 3663, already signed up to take part, successfully completed the challenge in 2011. Heather Angus said: "It was way outside our comfort zone but I'm so glad we did it and completed the challenge. It will stay with us forever". Here is where you can help – HA and Nestlé Professional would like you to form a team and become part of this incredible adventure. The trip may be tough at times, but there will be plenty of laughs along the way to ensure you make it all the way to the top!
