Hilton London Heathrow appoints new executive chef

Hilton London Heathrow Airport has appointed Christopher Jefferson as its new executive chef.
Jefferson trained firstly in Durham then left the north east in 2001 to join the team at the renowned Dorchester hotel where he worked for three years under Henry Brosi. The new executive chef has travelled all over the world, developing a knowledge of worldwide cuisines including Italian, Thai, Japanese and South American styles of cooking. Living in Brazil for a year, his claim to fame was making the world's biggest Battenberg cake for the TV program Monster Munchies, which was aired on the Good Food channel. He commented on his new position: "I'm really looking forward to my new role at Hilton London Heathrow Airport and injecting some of my creativity into Aromi restaurant. It's a great opportunity to build on an already successful hotel and continue on my culinary journey. I am excited to meet new guests and ensure that they have the ultimate gastronomic experience when they visit Aromi."
