The race takes place on Sunday, April 27, at 10.30am at ExCeL, London, as a spectacular preview event for the 2014 Hotelympia show and 2,014 runners is the target.

All profits from the race go to Springboard, which helps young, unemployed and disadvantaged people by supporting them into life-changing employment in hospitality, leisure and tourism. All runners receive a goodie bag after the race and a T-shirt.

This year the race is again supported by a raft of sponsors, which includes Bunzl, HIT Training, Huhtamaki and Mondelez International; the Craft Guild of Chefs is once again co-ordinating the post-race brunch, and many more supporters are donating both time and products and more sponsors are welcome.

Novotel Excel is again providing the venue for the pre-race pasta party the night before on Saturday, April 26, for £15 per person.

The 10k race is run under UK Athletic guidelines and is open to all – industry and non-industry runners. The entry fee is  £15 and UKA affiliated athletes pay £13. To sign up individually or as a team, visit www.hotelympia10k.com
